SCOUT - MISCELLANEOUS BADGES During both World War I (1914-1918) and World War II (1939-1945) Scouts contributed to the war effort by undertaking various tasks on the home front. In both wars special badges were issued to recognize the amount of time spent in war service. The design of badges for Cubs and Scouts was different during the First World War, but during the Second World War Cubs, Scouts and Rovers could all qualify for the same badges recognizing the amount of service given. |
